The Climate Adaptation Support System enterprise edition (CASSee), the first component of the, a Cassandra Programo forganizations, is a climate adaptation risk management tool. The commitment of a company's top management is essential for the successful implementation of the adaptation program. Therefore, one of the first steps of CASSee is an all-day management consultation. Then, using a modular system, CASSeeaims to reveal the weaknesses of the organization in a multilevel, self-understanding way, and thus support the process of preparation and adaptation using the organization’s own internal resources.
Change brings uncertainty and vulnerability, which needs to be addressed through the development of adaptive skills, and staff training is essential for this. CASSee is an e-learning method and online questionnaire toolkit. Proper use, through risk assessment and training, reduces an organization’s vulnerability and increases its change management effectiveness. With the support of CASSee, responsible leadership can transform an organization into a future-conscious unit, capable of continuous change.
It asks and examines, trains and shapes attitudes. By developing the knowledge and commitment of employees, the organization increases its adaptability and uses the innovation potential of its employees. CASSee covers all areas of an organization’s operations, taking into account the human, financial, technological, and supply chain aspects of the change.
The constantly evolving CASSee organizational climate adaptation toolconsists of five levels. Each of these contain four steps, the full completion of which is essential to build the resilience of the organization. Starting each subsequent level assumes successful completion of the previous one.
